And so it begins...
A new band is on the rise, and the members of JR Brontide are on the scene. Guitar/Vocalist JohnnyV (Myself) is assuming the role of guitar/vocals for the new sensation The Apollo Project.
Guitarist Richard E. Horsman (Rick) has already purchased a new guitar for his position as rhythm guitarist for the brand new band.
Additional members are Joe Stievens (drums/keyboards/harmony vocals) and Jamie Hill (bass). You can catch TAP hard at work in Joe's basement recording studio. Perhaps a show will appear in the Halifax/Dartmouth area sometime soon.

This is a new kind of animal for me... Before the last couple of weeks I've never played with a drummer or bassist so this is very exciting. Joe is rediculously talented and has alot of ambition and experience, and Jamie is just the greatest guy you could ask for... he's still kind of a beginner on bass but he can do what he needs to so its perfect. And yes I have recently acquired a new guitar. I purchased an Epiphone Les Paul standard plus at Buckley's music.. once I pay it off I'll go looking for something else to keep my collection growing... Anyway we're keeping ideas for places to play and things to do in our minds but until we get our shit together there isn't a whole lot we can do... but keep an eye out for "The Apollo Project" in Amherst aswell as our homestead here in HRM.. cuz we've got plans to appear back home sometime in the next couple months... and we might even have pictures up in the next couple of days of the new band
Stay Gold Rick

Man oh man.. today was completely better than its been thus far.. we just rocked solidly... everything was a little more controlled.. a little more musical.. its like Johnny was saying on the way home today... things can be powerful and rockin without compromising the musical aspect of it.. and today I feel that that is exactly what we did... and that rocks pretty feggin hard..... unfortunately we rocked so hard we didn't have time for picture taking.. but next time we will...
